Hello and welcome to another edition of Cus Words Sports!
With Ohio State not playing until tonight, I thought I would drop in quickly with a roundup of the stories and videos I produced this week here and elsewhere.
We started the week here with a rundown of what UCLA does well (not much) and not so well (most things).
Then came Ryan Day’s weekly press conference, where the most interesting thing I heard was about how he coached up Julian Sayin after the redshirt freshman threw a bad red zone interception at Purdue.
Meanwhile, I also had an update for the Associated Press regarding the Ohio State offensive line, which has had its ups and downs this year.
Now the Buckeyes have some health issues, including questions about the availability of starting right tackle Phillip Daniels and reserve guard Josh Padilla.
At Press Pros Magazine, I had a feature on the ongoing development of the running backs, who all showed some positive signs last week but still have much room to grow.
You can also see them speak about themselves on my YouTube channel.
You can also watch Ryan Day and others preview UCLA and speak about various other football issues.
As always, we wrapped up the week with This Week in Ohio State Football on Friday.
The main theme this time how much this week felt more like preseason than a typical game week.
I was also active on the BuckeyeSports.com message boards this week, so be sure to head over there for all your breaking news needs from the fine staff!
And finally, if I ever find a free minute, I like to contribute trending news stories at MensJournal.com.
This week included stories about video games, the Northern Lights, Joe Burrow and more Cleveland athletes disgracing sports, but you can find a full list here.
Be back later tonight (or more accurately Sunday morning) with more on Ohio State’s game against UCLA!
